Frequently asked questions

Is there an Enterprise plan?

Not a separate one. Scale is the plan for companies: $99 a month or $990 a year, started yourself through Stripe. Single sign-on, a dedicated IP on request and everything else on this page come with it.

How does single sign-on work?

An owner or admin names your company's email domain and proves it with a TXT record (a domain your workspace already sends from needs none). They connect your identity provider with its issuer URL, a client ID and a client secret, then run a test sign-in. Once the test passes, the sign-in page offers Continue with SSO to everyone at your domain.

Which identity providers work?

Any provider that supports OpenID Connect. Sign-in uses the authorization-code flow with PKCE, and the ID token's signature is checked against the keys your provider publishes.

Can we make single sign-on the only way in?

Yes. Turn on Enforce, and magic links stop working for your domain. Enforce turns on only after a test sign-in has passed and while an owner or admin has an email outside your domain, so someone can still get in if the provider breaks.

What role do new people get?

Member. Single sign-on adds people to your workspace as members on their first sign-in, never as admins.

What happens to single sign-on if a payment fails?

It rests until the plan is paid again: nothing is offered at sign-in and nothing is enforced, so nobody is locked out by a billing problem.

How do we get a DPA?

Email support@mails.ai. DPAs are available on request.

Who are your sub-processors?

The vendors that handle your data are listed on the sub-processors page, with what each one does and the data it handles. Whenever the list changes, we publish a changelog entry tagged sub-processors.

Can we get a dedicated IP?

Yes, on Scale, on request. It isolates your sending reputation from the shared pool. An IP only earns a reputation from steady volume, so most senders stay on the shared pool; the dedicated IP page explains when it helps.

How do we reach support?

By email, at support@mails.ai. Scale includes priority support.
