Five things to know.
$50/mo per IP, on Scale tier or higher
Available on request on Scale and above — provisioned per request until self-serve one-click ships. Bills monthly in advance via Stripe. Remove anytime — no contract.
Managed reputation ramp
The SES configuration set manages the dedicated IP reputation automatically. Monitoring built in. No manual schedule to maintain.
Reputation isolated from shared pool
Your dedicated IP's reputation is bound to your agent identity only. Other customers can't affect your inbox placement; you can't affect theirs.
Reputation isolation, not a volume gate
A dedicated IP keeps your inbox placement insulated from other senders' behavior. Most transactional senders do well on the shared pool's collective reputation; a dedicated IP is for teams that want their reputation fully self-contained.
Same workspace, same SDK
Just an add-on. Same workspace, same dashboard, same SDK. Available on request on Scale and above; provisioned per request until self-serve one-click ships. Remove anytime.
The questions we get.
Do I need a dedicated IP?
No. Per-agent reputation scoring + suppression-at-send + per-sender complaint auto-suspend handle abuse-protection architecturally. The dedicated IP is about REPUTATION ISOLATION — protecting your inbox placement from other senders' behavior — not a gate on any use case.
Can I have multiple dedicated IPs?
Yes. Each IP is $50/mo. Add as many as you need for multi-region sending or per-agent reputation isolation.
How does the reputation ramp work?
When a dedicated IP is assigned, SES manages its reputation ramp automatically; during that period, sends route through both the dedicated IP and the shared pool. You see status in /dashboard/domains.
Can I bring my own IP?
Not at Phase 1 launch. SES BYOIP requires AWS Direct Connect and is Phase 3 roadmap. For now, IPs are provisioned by us from AWS SES.
